Arthroscopic-assisted arthrodesis in the foot and ankle. Subtalar, tibiotalar, tibiocalcaneal, and metatarsophalangeal: 25 years of experience

Level Evidence: IV, retrospective series. Materials Methods: Patients who underwent were identified by review registry. Minimum follow-up was 24 months. Patient demographics characteristics, radiographic preoperative postoperative American Orthopaedic Foot Ankle Society score (AOFAS) obtained. Results: Subtalar fusion: 43 patients. Radiographic union seen 40 patients at mean 10 weeks (8-14) non three patients, which 1 required revision AOFAS improved from preoperatively (27-57) 83 (67-93) postoperatively. Tibiotalar 55 12 (7-15) all cases. 50.5 (25-60) 82 (62-94) Tibiotalocalcaneal 3 2 14 16 showed fibrotic subtalar without pain. (34-58) 78 (67-81) Metatarsophalangeal 35 33 8 (6-11). Two presented asymptomatic union. 38 (30-60) 86 (75-93) Conclusion: Arthroscopic an excellent degenerated joint.
